He was one of the greatest melodists of all time; Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky turned his magic quill upon the fairytale classic of "The Sleeping Beauty" and produced an enchanting ballet and inspiration for Disney’s beloved 1959 animated feature film. Tchaikovsky’s The Sleeping Beauty leans into the sections of the virtuoso Atlanta Symphony Orchestra with soaring lyricism and muscular bombast. Conductor Alpesh Chauhan makes his Atlanta debut.
