This second concert in the ASYO's 2022/23 season features American composer Alvin Singleton's Across Differences," which the composer notes "can refer to the differences between cultures, but it also refers to my thought process." The program also includes a movement of Erich Korngold's Hollywood-flavored Violin Concerto in D Major, and the first part of Stravinsky's The Rite of Spring" – the opening of which once scandalized all of Paris.
