Atlanta Symphony Youth Orchestra
Established in 1974, the Atlanta Symphony Youth Orchestra (ASYO) provides Atlanta's most talented and dedicated students an outlet to perform masterworks.
Each year, more than three hundred rising 8th to 12th-grade instrumentalists audition for seats in the ASYO. This special youth program presents three public concerts per season, performed in Atlanta Symphony Hall. Members also get exclusive invitations to participate in readings and master classes with the top artists in the instrumental music industry.

ASYO Overture Concert, Nov. 2022
Atlanta's most talented young musicians come together for the ASYO's first concert of the 2022/23 season. Led by ASYO Music Director Jerry Hou, the program features a work by Atlanta Symphony Orchestra member Michael Kurth as well as Mahler's First Symphony, nicknamed "Titan" for its heroic themes.
